Hi there!
We had a great time playing for a private party at The Ranch for a company called Arcadis, a large water treatment company. It seems we were part of the festivities for their ACE15 convention.
We loaded in, set up, plugged in, tuned up on the fine stage.
These little logos were all over the place, even on stage there was a blow-up version.
The tables had the stuffed toy version.
Here's our lovely and talented Kelly in her sound check attire.
Before we got started with the first of two sets, I take my traditional "amp selfie" with the company mascot.
In between sets we got to take advantage of the buffet. This was the
pasta and slider bar, squash ravioli, crab and buffalo chicken sliders.
Good stuff.
There was also salad, sautéed vegetables, and a couple of chefs carving
turkey and flank steak (with a cranberry chutney and horseradish). I had
a buffalo chicken slider to top it off.
Man! The eats were REALLY good at this gig. Plus these corporate events
pay much better than a regular night at The Ranch. Good money and good
grub are a wicked combination.
Just for grins and giggles, the whole ensemble got together for a picture with the company mascot.
The client even got a couple of line dance lessons. Not a bad gig at all
for a Monday night. We were done by 9:30 so I was home early on a
school night.
We'll be back at The Ranch this weekend for our regular dose of fun a frivolity. Stay tuned. Thanks for looking.
Thank you for your indulgence,
BassCliff
